The front drawer itself is a beautifully rippled surface, and the drawer pulls are designed as tiny seeds, with small metal leaves behind.

Beautiful & old, with scuffs, scratches, chips, and marks from age and use, and there is a narrow gap between the back panel and one side
A circular mark on the top shelf area shows where something used to sit and kept the light from reaching the lacquer underneath, and the shelves inside also show that the light only hit the front portions for a good amount of time
The black lacquer throughout shows its age through inconsistencies, but feels rich and deep
The original key is missing, but all but three of its original pins keep the metal banding around corners, hinges, and latches
